• Position: Tutor II – Agricultural Extension

Duties and responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Teach up to NTA Level 6 and assist in teaching higher levels where required.
• Administer examinations up to NTA Level 6.
• Prepare training materials and learning resources and provide training to students.
• Supervise and assist junior staff.
• Supervise field training.
• Conduct tutorial sessions for students with academic deficiencies.
• Set examinations and assignments.
• Identify students’ needs and provide counselling.
• Conduct and supervise presentation classes and tutorials.
• Conduct research and consultancy work.
• Perform any other duties assigned by superiors.

Qualifications

Applicants must possess:

• A bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Extension from a recognized institution or university.
• A minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 5.0.
