Dodoma, April 13, 2026 – The Tanzania Immigration Department has officially announced the call for youths selected to join the Initial Training for Immigration Officers 2026, following successful completion of all recruitment stages through the online system.According to a statement issued by the Commissioner General of Immigration, all successful applicants have received official notifications via email and phone messages, directing them to report to the training college on their assigned dates and times.

Reporting Requirements

All selected candidates must report to the college with the following documents:

• Call-up message (SMS or Email)
• Original identification (NIDA ID, Resident ID, or Passport)
• Birth certificate (original and copy)
• Academic certificates (original and copies)

 Essential Items for Immigration Training 2026

To ensure proper preparation, trainees are required to bring the following:

• Valid health insurance or TZS 50,400 (for those without insurance)
• Four blue bed sheets with pillowcases
• Pillow
• Mosquito net (round – light blue)
• Metal trunk (storage box)
• Large and small buckets
• Tracksuits (black and blue – one pair each)
• Sports shoes (2 pairs)
• A few decent clothes
• Rain boots (green or black)
• Four counter books (four quire)
• Cleaning tools (hoe, slasher, rake, machete, broom)
• Personal upkeep money

Important Information

Some of the required items are also available at the college shop. Trainees may choose to purchase them upon arrival if they are unable to obtain them beforehand.
