New Jobs at Mbeya District Council

The Executive Director of Mbeya District Council wishes to announce to all Tanzanians that Mbeya District Council intends to recruit Temporary Contract Staff of Assistant Nursing Officer/Physician Grade II who have completed one (1) year of training in (Anaesthesia) who will work at Mbeya District Council - Ikukwa Health Center.

ASSISTANT NURSING OFFICER/PHYSICIAN GRADE II POSITION (02)

REQUIREMENT QUALIFICATIONS 
1. Must have completed Form Four (IV) or Form Six (VI) with success. ii. Must have a valid Nursing
 or Medical License.
2. Must have attended a one-year training course in Anesthesia from a government-recognized college 
3. Applicant must have a Diploma in Nursing or Medical from a government-recognized college.
DUTIES

1.Preparing the patient before surgery.
2. Checking his health (Heart rate, blood pressure, medical history).
3.Giving sleeping medicine or pain relief.
4.Monitoring the patient during surgery.
5.Assisting the patient after surgery
6. Performing other tasks assigned by your supervisor
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

1. The applicant must be a Tanzanian citizen and be willing to work in any part of the Mbeya District 
Council.
2. The applicant must not be more than 45 years of age and must not have been convicted of 
a criminal offense or imprisoned. 
3. All applications must attach a detailed C.V. 
4. All applications must be accompanied by copies of professional certificates, 
educational certificates (IV or VI), birth certificate and two recent color photographs
 (Passport size) and the name must be written on the back. 
5.Testimonials”, “Provisional Results”, “Statement of results”, Form IV and Form VI 
RESULTS SLIPS will NOT be accepted. 
6. Applicants who studied outside Tanzania should ensure that their certificates have been 
verified and approved by the relevant authorities (TCU and NECTA). 
7. Applicants who have retired from the PUBLIC Service will not be allowed to apply unless
 they have the approval of the Secretary General. 
8. Submission of false information and qualifications will be subject to legal action. 
9. Must have an ID or National Identification Number from the National Identification 
Authority (NIDA) 
10. Applications should be handwritten by the applicant himself and submitted to the Open
