Duties and responsibilities
The Audiologist II will be responsible for the following duties:
- Carrying out audiometric therapy on patients with audio pathology.
- Maintaining accurate records of audiometric services provided to patients.
- Compiling case reports for each patient to monitor treatment progress.
- Taking care of equipment in the unit or department and reporting any malfunctions.
- Interviewing relatives and gathering information that can assist in the treatment of patients.
- Providing technical guidance and support to subordinates.
- Performing any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
Applicants must have the following qualification:
- Holder of a Bachelor Degree in Audiology from a recognized institution.

- Performing fitting of patients under supervision.

- Examining patients before undertaking treatment.
- Advising patients on how to use and maintain artificial limbs and body support devices.
- Ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures and BMH business processes.
- Performing any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Holder of a Diploma in Orthotics/Prosthetics from a recognized institution.
- Must be registered by the Medical Council of Tanganyika.
