Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidates will be responsible for performing flight-related duties under the supervision of a Captain and in accordance with institutional aviation procedures.
Key duties and responsibilities include:
- Familiarizing themselves with the aircraft operated by the Institution.
- Undertaking initial training on at least one of the aircraft operated by the Institution.
- Collecting the Navigation Bag containing the aircraft library from Operations Control and ensuring that all relevant documents are in order.
- Returning the Navigation Bag to Operations Control after completion of flights.
- Checking all documents and informing the Pilot-in-Command of any NOTAM, Fleet Notices, or any other information that may affect flights.
- Maintaining continuous watch on the available communication frequencies with the appropriate Air Traffic Control.
- Maintaining cabin and cockpit temperatures at comfortable levels during flight.
- Performing flight duties under the supervision of a Captain.
- Performing any other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must have attended and passed Ab-initio training.
- Must hold a Commercial Pilot License with Instrument Rating, Multi-Engine (CPL, IR/ME) issued by TCAA.
- Must have at least 250 hours’ total flying time.
- Must possess an A-Level Secondary Education Certificate with at least two principal passes in any of the following subjects:
- Physics
- Mathematics
- Geography
- Equivalent qualifications may also be considered.
Remuneration
The successful candidates will be paid according to the following salary scale:
