Quality assurance manager

Uhai Water Bottling Company is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Manager to oversee and maintain the highest standards of product quality, food safety, and compliance across all production processes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor quality assurance policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards
• Supervise laboratory testing and water quality analysis processes
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of production and packaging lines
• Investigate quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to improve product quality
• Maintain accurate QA documentation, reports, and certification records
• Train staff on quality standards, GMP, HACCP, and safety procedures
• Monitor customer complaints and ensure timely resolution of quality concerns

Minimum qualifications & experience

• Masters in Food Science, Chemistry, Quality Management, Microbiology, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial position within a water bottling company
• Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, ISO standards, and food safety regulations
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in quality management systems and Microsoft Office
• Strong communication and report writing abilities
• Experience in water treatment and beverage manufacturing processes is an added advantage
