Core responsibilities
The MFS program director will be responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of the core wallet transformation program, ensuring successful execution, governance, and operational readiness.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of the core wallet transformation program, ensuring roadmap execution, milestone achievement, and strategic alignment.
- Coordinate all migration workstreams, including product, compliance, operations, technical integration, data migration, and customer readiness.
- Manage cross-functional teams across engineering, product, operations, compliance, vendors, and group functions to ensure integrated delivery.
- Establish governance structures, executive reporting, and stakeholder coordination to drive decision-making and issue resolution.
- Act as the key liaison between leadership, technology teams, vendors, partners, and customers throughout the transformation program.
- Oversee Huawei Core Wallet and third-party vendor performance, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and operational readiness.
- Lead migration and cutover execution, including testing, rehearsals, go-live coordination, and seamless customer transition.
- Identify and mitigate program, operational, cybersecurity, and customer-impact risks while ensuring regulatory and audit compliance.
- Ensure compliance with fintech and mobile money regulations, including PCI DSS, AML, KYC, GDPR, and GSMA standards.
- Drive operational excellence through KPI monitoring, transaction efficiency, reconciliation, post-migration support, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee wallet modernization initiatives, including cloud-native architecture, APIs, integrations, scalability, performance, and security optimization.
- Lead change management, communication, and capability-building initiatives to enhance adoption, customer experience, and business growth.
