 Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Insights 
  • Analyze customer acquisition, usage, churn and revenue trends within the HBB & EBB portfolio
  • Develop dashboards and reports to track KPIs such as ARPU, revenue, base and decay
  • Identify business opportunities and performance gaps, and propose solutions to improve customer experience and revenue
  • Support pricing, promotional and product performance evaluation
  • Evaluate impacts of HBB & EBB campaigns, pricing initiatives and product changes and provide performance feedback to marketing, product and sales teams

Financial & Performance Reporting

  • Forecast HBB & EBB performance in alignment with company goals and provide input into budgeting processes
  • Lead the monthly forecasting and performance tracking process for HBB & EBB revenue, subscriber base and usage aligning with Finance and sales teams
  • Prepare and present regular reports on HBB business performance to management, highlighting variances against targets and drivers of performance
  • Partner with Finance to evaluate the financial viability of new HBB propositions, including ROI calculations, break-even analysis and cost optimization strategies.

Computing monthly sales commission and transport payments

  • Evaluating monthly performance, calculating the commission based on commission structure and liaising with management for pay out.

Stakeholder engagement 

  • Act as the analytical backbone supporting sales, product, finance, IT and CX teams with actionable insights
  • Collaborate with product managers to define and track success metrics for new and existing offerings
  • Provide commercial teams with segmented customer insights to support sales enablement and customer retention strategies

People & Org Dev- Cross functional engagement within and Outside department 

  • Helping other team members with preparations of business cases regarding new projects, presentation preparations and other tasks.

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications & Functional / Technical Skills

  • University degree in Statistics, IT, Computer Science/Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or equivalent 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Computer literacy particularly in Power Point and Excel

Relevant Experience (Type of experience and minimum number of years)

  • At least 4 years’ working experience in a similar position
  • Experience in Telecommunication industry
  • Experience in working with Management Information Systems (MIS) and SQL

Other requirements (Behavioural etc.)

  • Strong people skills: Ability to motivate, build collaborative relationships
  • Work standards: Setting high goals or standards of performance for oneself. Dissatisfaction with average performance
  • Communication: Effective expression in individual or group situations (includes awareness of non-verbal communication). Must be able to communicate effectively at all levels from office service staff to Director’s level
  • Initiative: Active attempts to influence events to achieve goals; self-starting rather than passive acceptance. Taking action to achieve goals beyond what is necessary, originating ideas and actions
  • Work under high pressure environment with minimum supervision

Responsibilities
RA Compliance Universe adherence

Maintain high levels of compliance above 99% for GSM
Implement Revenue Assurance SOPs & RA Manuals to cover emerging risks and better management of existing risks
Increase Revenue by minimizing Revenue Leakage

Detect and plug revenue leakages
Identify missed revenue opportunities
Continuous review of service paths and revenue paths and contribute to evolve RA control environment to cover emerging risks and minimize the existing leakages
Data analytics and insights generation

Use various DBMS for data mining, analysis and reporting
Track key revenue and subscriber KPIs for trends or declines
Monitor product performance and generate strategic insight
Institutionalize Best Practices & Leverage Group Synergies

Implement Group wide initiatives
Support Project management teams for major system launches to do comprehensive risk analysis and ensure First Time Right
Build knowledge base and key learning’s, maintain standards UAT templates and already implemented processes for compliance
Ensure First Time Right implementation of new products

Liaise with CFT to understand the complete architecture, end to end service path and revenue path, and perform UAT cases
Highlight to business the emerging risks
Issue Closure

Close loop with CFT for fast closure of issues
Escalate appropriately when required through proper hierarchy
Take ownership to get issues closed
SQL and Reporting

Provide weekly/monthly reports in a timely manner as required by business and Group RAFM
Report on all revenue loss incidents to management
Comprehend business logic and use of SQL guidelines and procedures for accurate data generation/mining
Prepare timely management & regulatory reports highlighting performance against set business KPIs
Apply SQL best practices for precise data extraction
Internal Audit Score

Ensure adherence to audit requirements and address findings proactively
Should strictly be satisfactory or above

Qualifications
Educational Qualifications & Functional / Technical Skills

Graduate: ICT Degree
Relevant Experience (Type of experience and minimum number of years)

1-2 years in Telecom, ICT or Billing Assurance
Skill & Knowledge of SQL is a MUST
Other requirements (Behavioural etc.)

Ability to communicate effectively using both verbal and written communication channels
Understanding of relational database structures, data manipulation and data extraction methodologies
Understanding of charging principles, tariffs model interconnect and roaming billing processes
Ability to work within a team of professionals, guiding and coordinating towards achieving common objectives as well as organize and facilitate brainstorming sessions
Ability to see the ‘big picture’ and adapt accordingly
Good appreciation of project management methodology, principles and best practices
Ability to review financial results of a telco operation
