Job Description
• Provide specialized
technical expertise in Trade Finance products sales to various clients
under MSME segment by engaging with Relationship Managers from Branches
and Head Office.
•
Responsible to oversee Trade Finance MSME portfolio assigned on new and
existing customers and expected to increase the wallet share to the
department/Unit.
•
Responsible for ensuring that the established SLAs between customers,
Staffs and Trade Operations are adhered to and maintained at all times
ensuring satisfactory customer service levels are maintained from a
sales /after sales perspective
• Manage product targeted results, Reports and P&L responsibilities for the MSMEs under the department/Unit.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Achieving sales performance targets as specified and agreed to within annual objective settings.
•
Ability to independently receive, solve and recommend practical
solutions on Technical Trade Finance Products queries for Exim Bank
(Tanzania) Limited.
• Manage communication within the targeted portfolio on network, tariffs and operational process and procedure.
•
Analyses Exim Bank (Tanzania) Limited Trade Finance performance in
relation to peers around the market through own intelligence
•
Offer specialist advice to customers and MSMEs Relationship Managers on
Trade Finance products with regards to interpretation of generally
accepted trade principles such as UCP600, URDGs, ISP, URC etc.
•
Ensuring the growth of MSMEs Trade finance business by engaging the
relationship teams in analyzing and selling the best and right products
to the targeted customers
• Complete call reports to summarize discussions, opportunities and agreed actions related to all client sales calls
•
Report and inform the relationship teams with their branches on
outstanding liability positions, sales volumes and sales revenue per
client level.
•
Responsible for annual review and updating of Trade products/service
delivery processing procedure manual, circulating information on
regulatory changes by government authorities/ agencies, Central Bank of
Tanzania and Exim Bank (Tanzania) Limited.
•
Responsible for providing necessary training for new staff to the
department/Unit, relationship managers and other bank staffs on trade
finance products both vanilla and structured trade finance.
•
Carry out work in accordance with the bank’s procedures and maintain
high standard risk cautions and comply with internal procedures
• Adherence to risk management framework, compliance guidelines and internal policies
•
Maintains very high level of integrity and keeps company information
confidential and strictly for Exim’s business at all the time
• Attend all assigned training courses timely and within deadlines
