DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preparing the transport finance reports including presentations for Exco
- Transport cost controls (including third parties)
- Reviewing and reconciling retention charges, Mileage bills and ensure proper accruals are made.
- Working closely with Transport department to analyse and reasoning costs/expenses and transport KPIs.
- Matching waybills (for materials) and GRN, weekly.
- Reviewing and custodians of all transport account codes in the system. Ensuring proper allocation of costs among transport GLs.
- GIT analysis
- Custodian of transport budget and comparing actual vs budget monthly. Variances should be proper explained with facts.
- Assist on reconciliation of transport vendors.
- Perform any other tasks as given by the Financial controller or CFO
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Academic/Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/Finance
- Qualified candidate with CPA/ACCA
Work Experience
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience working in manufacturing or transport industry.
Skills and Competencies
- SAP Knowledge is an added advantage.
- Ability to meet deadline.
- Self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
- Ability to work as part of the team and liaise with people of different cultures.
- Excellence communication (both verbal and written) in English and Swahili
Fleet Manager at Dangote

Job Summary
- Performing SAP related activities for Transport Department (Trained for TMS, MM & SD) core user
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Liaise with FOS in all issues related to fleet management.
- Maintain electronic databases of sales, registration, inspections, and maintenance of fleet management.
- Ensure fleet availability to meet all requests by scheduling, forecasting, and surveying current user trends.
- Arrange fleets and fleets operational staff to provide support and schedule special event planning.
- Monitor and ensure fleet operation in compliance with local and state rules and regulations.
- Facilitate and implement corrective actions and capacity building to manage entire fleet to achieve company objectives.
- Ensure that vehicle and drivers logbooks are properly maintained for input vehicle into relevant documentations.
- Oversee activities involving vehicle licensing, renewal, and other statutory registrations.
- Review and sign-off on periodic vehicle fuelling requests, in line with approved provisions.
- Coordinate routine servicing, repair of vehicle as at when required and maintain relevant documentations.
- Performe periodic vehicle inspection, report incidences and provide recommendations to Head of Department
- Liaise with the approved mechanics workshops to ensure prompt and complete service and repair of DCL trucks.
- Prepare and submit monthly report fleet.
- Perform any other related duties as may assigned by Senior Manager/Head of Transport
Key Requirements
Education & Work Experience
- First degree or its equivalent in Transport and Logistics
- Professional qualification in Transport and logistics
- At least Eight (8) years’ of experience in a generalist Transport role.
Skills & Competencies
- Basic Knowledge of computer application.
- Ability to effectively apply scheduling techniques to own work.
- Basic knowledge of record management systems (manual and automated).
- Good problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Good communication skills.

Store Keeper at Dangote
Location: Mtwara Plant Tanzania, Mtwara Plant Tanzania

Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Physically receiving material from Cargo or Consignment and to check with Delivery Note, with reference to Purchase Order.
- In case of deviation in quantity or Quality to be intimated to Procurement.
- To send Intimation to end user about the receipt of Material and to visit Stores to Inspect the Material.
- To Make GRN in SAP, for the received Material.
- To coordinate with the user department to get the GRN approval.
- To put TAG to the Material and to make entry of the receipt in the Bin Card.
- Shift the Material to the proper location.
- To make manual entry in Excel for the received material, for quick access and
- Issue Material to the user department against SAP Reservation.
- physically check the Line Balance of the Items in Bin, with reference to the
- Reservation handling and posting in SAP
- To make PR in SAP for the stock out Items.
- Making a minimum Stock Items list and follow it up for replenishment.
- To make manual entry in Excel for the reservations
Qualification and Experience
- A Diploma in Procurement and Supply Management or any other related field
- A minimum of four (4) years of relevant work experience.
- Good knowledge in the use and maintenance of instrumentation equipment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Commitment to implemented safety and environment regulations
- Good data gathering and analysis skills.
