Main Duties
Work under Shared Service Centre HM Tanzania as assistant accountant with duties and responsibilities;
. Verifying vendor’s invoices to ensure complied with the company’s policy and meet regulatory requirements.
. Verify invoices against purchase orders and ensure goods or services were received before posting in ERP
. Posting of supplier invoices in ERP
. Assisting to prepare and payments of VAT, excise duties etc.
. Timely review, preparing payment plan and processing vendor’s payments.
. Assisting to prepare and posting journal entries for monthly accruals and provisions.
. Perform supplier’s account reconciliations
. Prepare various reports and schedules required by management like aging, DPO.
. Coordinate with other department to resolve vendors issues.
. Filling and maintaining supplier records.
. Ensure compliance with the HC Group Code of Business Conduct, as well as other policies and guidelines.
. Perform any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor
Minimum Requirements (Qualifications)
. At least One (1) years of working experience in accounting role
. Proficient knowledge of computing tools such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook etc,
. Strong communication and analytical skills,
. Strong understanding of International Accounting Standards and principles.

Main Duties
Safety & Compliance
• Develop and implement a roadmap to improve safety standards.
• Maintain high-level safety standards across all logistics operations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards.
• Monitor regulatory changes and adapt processes accordingly
• Implement best practices for trucks management.
Operational Management
• Oversee daily logistics activities, including inbound, Outbound
Logistics, Weighbridge Operations and Parking yards & loading
arrangements.
• Implement technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
Strategic Planning
• Lead logistics strategy development to optimize processes and reduce costs.
• Develop contingency plans and work close with Procurement to mitigate risks and supply chain disruptions.
• Prepare and present logistics performance reports to senior management.
• Laise with Other Departments like Commercial, Procurement, Finance for better service.
• Promote the use of backhauling trucks at a discounted freight cost.
• Ensure always there is optimal materials stock in plant.
Supplier & Stakeholder Management
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure reliability and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with Procurement to secure best transporters while optimizing cost.
• Coordinate with other departments (procurement, production, finance) for seamless operations.
• Promote and manage fair transporter appraisal.
Performance & Team Development
• Drive logistics KPIs and monitor performance metrics.
• Train and develop logistics team members to build capability.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence
Minimum Requirements (Qualifications)

2. Qualification
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Proven experience in logistics management and strategic planning.

• Proficiency in logistics software and data analysis tools.
3. Experience:
• A minimum of five (5) years of professional working experience is required.
