The Key Purpose of this role is the operation of the process area according to work instructions, the execution of non- destructive quality checks and carrying out of routine maintenance. The process artisan has a primary focus on the asset care activities of the team.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Operating & Process Control:
- Operating the process area according to the work instructions and adhering to usage standards
- Carrying out the required quality checks as described in the quality control and analysis work practice
- Recording waste on the appropriate documentation or information systems, and reviewing waste trends to identify problems or opportunities timeously
- Constantly reviewing process performance against target, and completing all short interval control documentation
- Responding rapidly to upstream or downstream triggers that result in stoppages
- Appropriate problem-solving approaches, as detailed in the problem-solving work practice must be followed
- Performing housekeeping tasks, applying 5s principles and following safe work practices
Communication:
- Actively participating in shift meetings, asking questions to test understanding and contributing suggestions
- Making use of the gap list to record issues, problems and improvement opportunities
- Fully understanding the team goals and participating in team goal review sessions
- Making use of relevant communication media (e.g. shift logbook) to stay informed and inform others of issues
Maintenance of Plant & Equipment:
- Carry out in depth cleaning, lubrication and inspection of machines according to the work instructions, and following the schedules supplied by the maintenance planner
- Carrying out routine maintenance activities according to the maintenance schedule. Where routine maintenance reveals larger problems, and the process artisan is unable to resolve these, it must be escalated to the team leader
- Taking part in maintenance and cleaning days, monitoring trends when conducting routine maintenance
- Where trends indicate the existence of underlying problems, corrective action must be Quality Control and Analyses taken
- When operating, the process artisan must carry out the non-destructive quality checks and analyses
- Recording the results of quality checks on the relevant documentation or information system
Problem Solving:
- When problems occur, applying the appropriate techniques (e.g. 5why, quick fix routines etc.) the identify and correct the problem
- Where the process artisan is unable to resolve the problem, involve fellow team members or escalate to the team leader if necessary
- Where problems have been resolved, verify that the problems have been eliminated
- Continuous Improvement Using run/control charts and trend analysis, to identify sources of waste and variation in the process
- Where improvement opportunities have been identified, these must be recorded on the team gap list
- The process artisan should involve other team members in evaluating opportunities and call-in specialist resources to assist if require
Key Attributes and Competencies:
- Ability to solve problems occurring on the machines
- Ability to communicate technical knowledge to operation staff improving their skills sets
- Ability to train, coach and mentor operation staff on ATO and 5’s principles
- Ability to optimize usages and reduce wastage with permanent solutions

- Ability to identify nonstandard work and tag the defects with root causes
- Ability to identify required spares for restorations task Ability to be able to use electronic communication devices e.g. Tablets, laptops and other devices to help you understand the specific
Minimum Requirements:
- Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 2 years working experience in Manufacturing Industry
- 2 Years experience in beverage industries

The key purpose of this role is to be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the integrity of all inventory control processes, systems, and routines across the country. This includes finished goods, raw materials, empties, consumables and spare parts. The role ensures that all inventory-related activities are accurately reflected in the ERP system and comply with company policies and standards.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Monitor adherence to inventory-related roles and responsibilities across operational teams.
- Support operational teams in identifying and closing inventory-related risks.
- Facilitate accountability by ensuring signoffs and documentation are completed for all inventory routines.
- Escalate non-compliance or recurring issues to relevant managers for resolution.
- Coordinate and track training on inventory policies, SOPs, and control routines.
- Ensure training records are maintained, and refresher sessions are conducted as needed.
- Drive accountability & responsibility to the appropriate operational and functional owners to ensure consistent execution and ownership of inventory management processes.
- Audit compliance with inventory management routines, including stock recons, counts, Stock loss investigations, MBFU & BITs management and recharge process, bottle loss, RTI and Time In Trade management and aging POs/GRNs tracking.
- Track execution of standard operating procedures (SOPs) across all sites and flag deviations.
- Verify completion of daily/weekly/monthly inventory routines and ensure documentation is filed.
- Ensure alignment with inventory governance policies and recommend corrective actions where gaps are found.
- Review and validate the integrity of inventory-related reports submitted by operational teams.
- Monitor and report on adherence to Minimum Internal Controls (MICs) across all inventory processes.
- Support KPI management, with a focus on inventory-related cost drivers such as SCOH (Supply Chain Overheads).
- Identify trends in non-compliance or inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.
- Leverage excellence programs (e.g., LCP, VPO, DPO) to embed best practices and drive stronger inventory control routines and results.
- Monitor ERP (e.g., Syspro) data integrity, ensuring that all inventory movements are accurately captured and reconciled.
- Analyse stock variances and investigate root causes in collaboration with site teams.
- Track stock master system usage (e.g., handheld devices, stock variance reports) and ensure tools are used as intended.
- Generate compliance dashboards and reports to highlight trends, risks, and improvement areas.
Key Attributes and Competencies:
- Strong experience in management of finished goods and/or raw materials management
- Strong end to end Supply Chain expertise.
- Ability to effectively communicate at senior levels at MANCOM and Global Levels.
- Able to effectively communicate and interact with cross functional stakeholders, Internal and external customers at all levels of the Company.
- Strong knowledge of finance management

Minimum Requirements:
- B.Sc. Degree in Engineering or Econometrics, Finance or Bachelor of Commerce in Supply Chain, Economics, IT, Accounting Science, MBA recommended.
- 3-5 Years experience in logistics and supply chain management and finance background
